Say Cheese!

For most people social media is a fun platform to post images about their day, talk to loved ones anywhere in the world and just connect to the people around them. For a business, social media is a lot more time consuming and premeditated.

For the past two years, I have carried around my old Canon 600D, an incredible starter DSLR camera that served me well. However as my skills have gotten better and the demand of social media has increased, it was time to upgrade to the Canon 6D.

For those of you interested, my previous set up for almost every single social media post was the following:

Canon 600D camera body
Canon 18 - 55mm f/3.5 kit lens
Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens
Tamron 10 - 24mm f/3.5 - 4.5 wide angle lens

Most of the images were shot using the standard kit lens, just because it provided a good zoom range for any situation. Everything was shot in RAW and then edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

The new set up is:

Canon 6D camera body
Canon 24 - 105mm f/4 zoom lens
Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens

Stay tuned, after all, life's just getting interesting.
